You are so welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful. This was my update review.....did another one before this. I love their Card Cut Essentials die sets 1 & 2.....I just wish I loved sets 3 & 4 as much. Thanks for stopping by 😊💗🤗 Hugs.....Janie
Good morning Janie, I haven't used die sketches before. I am too simple with just regular die cuts. LOL It is so nice of you to provide the details! I feel that I am getting caught up on RUclips. I started substitute teaching again and my days seemed shorter than normal. LOL Janie it is so wonderful that you take so much time to educate your subscribers! Thank you! I hope you have a great day!! XO Gina
Hi Gina 😊 Card sketches (with or without dies), are a great way to get you started on making a card if you need an idea. There are several places to get card sketches (free) through people like Cards By Kendra or Call Me Crafty Al, just to name a couple, and they are on RUclips. I have made my own card sketches and shared with my viewers before. If you were someone that made a lot of cards, then these cutting die sets are great because they cut the pieces for you and offer a wide variety of ways to use them. I don't always use card sketches, but there are times they definitely come in handy, especially if I'm making a lot of cards at one time. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you had a wonderful day 😊💗🤗 Hugs....Janie
@@janiethecraftprincess Hi Janie, Happy Friday! I haven't been making cards lately. I do love all the channels that have amazing cards! I think I might makes some Valentines Cards for family and friends! I appreciate your feedback Janie! I hope you have a wonderful crafting weekend! XO Gina
I thought it was the right thing to do after Michelle left a comment on my video. It was good to let people know the sketches had been updated, and her suggestion for lining up the papers (even though that doesn't work for me). I hope if they make future sets that they are more like sets 1 & 2. Thanks for stopping by Sue 😊💗🤗 Hugs....Janie
Thanks Janie! ♥I like that Michelle fixed the sketches to match the die shapes. That shows she cares. But I'm watching you fiddling to get that 6x6 paper lined up exactly with that die. Nope. That wouldn't be me. When I'm creating, I don't want to fiddle with something like that. If I'm going to fuss about, it's got to be with something I'm actually creating, not with lining up a die to paper.
Hi Ebba. Yes, Michelle cares about her products, and I hope if she makes more of these Card Cut Essentials die sets that she makes them like she did the first two. Like you, I am not one to have to fiddle with things like that.....to frustrating and time consuming. And even though I had cataract surgery and can better now than before, but I know there are many of us "not so young anymore" folks that might struggle with even seeing where the cut edges are to line things up (before my surgery I would have had to put my nose on it in hopes of getting it lined up). Michelle is probably young and didn't think of that. So as I said, I stand behind my original, and honest, reveiw. I hope Michelle understands and makes future changes. Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your comments on this 😊💗🤗 Hugs....Janie
@@janiethecraftprincess I know what you mean about eyesight. I have cataracts and also glaucoma, so seeing small things can be very difficult. I love the look of the dies, but don't enjoy struggling with things. ♥
@@Ebba-June Exactly.....whether it's cataracts or glaucoma or just bad eyesight, it can be difficulst for some people. I hope in the future Pink & Main take that into consideration. Oh I forgot to tell you.....I discovered that PayPal has a button for "buy me a cup of coffee" and so I removed PayPal from Ko-fi and now my link is direct to PayPal 😊 Cutting out the middle man. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions on all of that. I'm not expecting you to donate or anything, I just wanted to let you know that I switched it so it's just PayPal 😊 Hugs....Janie

I have all 4 dies sets, but so far I’ve only used set #3 because I really love it. I use that main large die that measures just under 6x6 to cut my card stock for matting layers. Then I use the inside dies to cut my patterned paper. Usually my cardstock is not cut to 6x6, so it is super easy to line this die up and cut all of it beautifully. Then I cut out the bottom pieces again with a patterned paper, and again, I use the cardstock pieces as mats. I wish I could show you how beautiful my cards look. One pass with this die and I have the pieces for 2 cards once I cut the internal pieces and the strips with a patterned paper. Love, love, love this die set!
You can definitely show your beautiful cards in my FB group, Crafter's Castle, I would love to see them. I enjoy using these die sets too....especially sets 1 & 2. I recently shared cards I made with set #3 in a video.....also using Pink & Main's Snowman Peekers, and December Mug stamp and die sets. I know you said the main die measures just under 6x6, but that is not correct.....the die itself measures 5 5/8" x 6 1/8", which is what makes it difficult to line it up on 6x6 papers (especial for crafters that are older or don't have perfect vision). The actual cut lines are 5 1/2" x 6", which is why Michelle (Pink & Main), suggests lining your paper up with the actual cut lines (again, difficult for those that are older or don't have perfect vision, or people that don't have the patience to fiddle with it). But yes they can make it easy to make multiple cards at once. I'm so happy you love this die set.....I'm sure many do. But like I said, for many people I know that are older, have cataracts, glaucoma, of other vision issues, or hate having to fiddle with making sure it's lined up right on the cut lines and making sure the paper stays there, it can be frustrating if not down right impossible. So it's not for everyone. I prefer sets 1 & 2 because the size is perfect to just lay on 6x6 paper and not have to worry about it. Thanks for stopping by and sharing 😊 Hugs.....Janie
I appreciate your review...I considered buying set 3 and 4 because I use the first two quite a bit. I only have the standard Big Shot and I don't think I'd have good results if I can't rotate them slightly.
They should fit in your Big Shot.....they fit my old Cuttlebug. She actually made them smaller across, just under 5 3/4", and just over 6" long. Where sets 1 & 2 are just over 5 3/4" both directions. So fitting shouldn't be an issue, but you won't be able to rotate them. So....just something to think about. I prefer the size of sets 1 & 2 and not having to fiddle with lining paper up with the cutting lines and keeping it there. If you have bad eyes, it will probably impossible. But I will make mine work by using larger papers or doing partial cuts with the die. I'm not going to let mine go to waste. But I had I known what I know now, I wouldn't have bought them. I just didn't want other people to be surprised when they buy them.....I believe in letting people make educated descisions by providing them information. Thank you so much for stopping by 😊 Hugs....Janie
